Joe Di Nardo is a comedian, singer, and former pharmacist. Raised in Mühlacker, with family roots in Salerno, he was the German in Italy, the Italian in Germany, and the Swabian in the rest of the country. A thorough education in seeing the world through the eyes of others.

He embodies a new kind of comedy that combines insight into human nature with delightfully brazen audacity. The political incorrectness of his jokes is drawn straight from real life: from irritated helpfulness, wounded vanity, and an unshakable belief in one’s own reason. His characters talk themselves into a rage and get tangled up in absurdities. Beneath the seemingly crude surface lies a keen eye for human contradictions. Joe lets his characters make fools of themselves without betraying them. Even his Italian self-parodies don’t let their creator off the hook. Behind it all is an artist who recognizes human weaknesses with a sure eye—and doesn’t turn a blind eye to his own either.
