Aline Schwibbe\u2019s lithograph is based on a drawing of a pregnant seahorse from her stop-motion-animation \u201cYou Heart Can\u2019t Beat Unless I Tell it To\u201d from 2021. The artist returns to her fascination with the only species where males take on the breeding of their offspring, namely by housing them in their belly pouch. A moving snapshot of underwater life, an existence without any standstill, drawn with reverence by Schwibbe with a tender and fluid hand.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/article>\n<\/div>\n\n
